You’ll work on real product features that are used by real customers, and many of our interns join us full-time after graduation .
Full Stack Software Developer – Co-op / Internship
Location: Quebec-based (Montreal preferred) Duration: 4+ months
The Opportunity
We’re growing and looking for a Full Stack Software Developer Co-op / Intern to join our R&D team .
If you’re excited about building things that actually ship, this role is for you. You’ll work mainly in a Java-based stack , help develop Flexspring’s core platform, and learn how real SaaS products are designed, tested, and improved over time.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll code, learn, ask questions, and contribute—every week.
What You’ll Be Working On
- Building and improving features in Flexspring’s product
- Writing backend and full stack code using Java and JavaScript
- Working with APIs and data flowing between systems
- Writing and running tests to make sure things work as expected
- Collaborating with experienced developers through code reviews and team discussions
What We’re Looking For
- You’re currently studying Software Engineering, Computer Science , or a related field
- You have a solid foundation in Java and/or JavaScript
- You’ve been exposed to Spring and JUnit (school projects count!)
- You’ve worked with or learned about APIs
- You’re curious, motivated, and enjoy solving problems
Nice to Haves
- Experience with REST APIs, React, GraphQL, Groovy, JMS, or SOAP
- Interest in SaaS products or system integrations
- Curiosity about how large systems talk to each other
