Position Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated Financial Analyst to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to blend financial analysis, accounting, and marketing analytics, with responsibilities split between traditional financial tasks and strategic marketing evaluation.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with Daasity and NetSuite, strong analytical skills, and a keen attention to detail. In this role, you will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis related to the P&L, cash flows, and balance sheet, as well as marketing analytics and strategic planning. You will serve as a key bridge between Finance and Marketing, providing data-driven insights that optimize acquisition, retention, and overall marketing efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Analysis & Strategic Planning:

· Conduct budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis across the P&L, cash flow, and balance sheet.

· Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.

· Support strategic business objectives such as margin optimization and cost reduction in variable and fixed expenses.

· Work with large datasets to provide actionable insights on business performance.

· Leverage Daasity to consolidate and visualize data, supporting senior management with real-time financial insights.

· Identify key business drivers and provide strategic recommendations to optimize operations and financial performance.

Marketing & Planning Analytics:

· Serve as a bridge between Finance and Marketing, aligning financial and business strategies to maximize revenue growth.

· Evaluate overall business trends and provide strategic thought leadership for all areas of marketing-related business.

· Conduct marketing financial analysis, including:

• ROI for marketing campaigns
• Media mix modeling
• Customer acquisition cost (CAC) targets
• Lifetime value (LTV) analysis
• Campaign measurement and attribution modeling
• Customer cohort analysis
• A/B split testing and performance measurement

· Analyze marketing acquisition and retention efforts to identify gaps, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

· Apply deep knowledge of eCommerce, DTC, B2B, subscription models, and marketing finance to create accurate financial assumptions and recommendations.

· Experience working with Amazon media and sales channels is preferred.

· Experience working with Shopify platform is preferred.

Accounting & Compliance:

· Maintain and update financial records in NetSuite, ensuring accuracy and integrity.

· Assist in journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close processes.

· Ensure compliance with accounting principles, and company policies.

· Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders during audits.

· Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency in financial operations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in accounting, financial analysis, or marketing finance.
• Proficiency in NetSuite and Daasity (1+ year required).
• Advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and macros) and experience with data visualization tools.
• Deep understanding of financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow).
• Experience with Amazon media and sales channels (Preferred).
• Knowledge of the Shopify eCommerce platform (Preferred).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in e-commerce, retail, or technology industries.
• CPA, CFA, or progress toward certification is a plus.

Pay: $75,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
