Site Description: Markville Mall’s staff is dedicated to providing visitors with friendly service, helpful information, and a welcoming experience. Job Description: Working on assigned shifts, you will provide proactive and reactive security patrols and response to incidents. You will be required to write reports and investigate routine incidents, as well as respond to emergencies in a quick and efficient manner.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist the Site Supervisor with day-to-day reporting and daily operations
- Assist in leading a team of 2-6 guards.
- Must have strong leadership skills
- Must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills
- Must demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills
- Maintain compliance with and enforce property standards, rules, and regulations in a reasonable manner
- Other duties as outlined by management
Prerequisites:
- Legally Authorized to work Full-Time in Canada
- A Valid Ontario Security Guard License
- Must possess a valid Standard First Aid and CPR certification (WSIB-approved). Please note, this is different from Level C or Emergency First Aid certification.
- Must have a G class drivers license with a clear drivers abstract.
