Senior Project control officer

Our client, a top banking client in Canada is looking to hire a Senior PCO role for their team with a contract of 12 months which is renewable. This role 1-2 days a week in the office for their Toronto office.
The Senior PCO will support 1-2 Senior Business Project Managers handling Cyber Security-related projects ranging from $8-20 million. Responsibilities include financial tracking, managing estimates, preparing presentations, and collaborating with technology teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Coordination: Assist PMs & Scrum master's in project planning, scheduling, and tracking using Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Financial Management: Track and reconcile budgets, analyze variances, and manage project financials.
- Reporting & Documentation: Maintain SharePoint records, manage status reports, and prepare executive-level presentations.
- Meeting Support: Take minutes, log action items, and ensure timely follow-ups for key meetings .
- 5+ years of previous PCO experience (prefers good PCO exp, managing different projects)
- Strong experience with managing project financials
- General understanding of accounting practices
- Experience with Agile and SharePoint
- MS Excel, MS teams, MS word, PowerPoint
- Banking experience/large enterprise experience
- Any PM certifications
- Very organized
- Able to meet strict timelines
- Great communication skills.
