General Labour (Counterbalance Forklift)

Job Title: General Labourer (Counterbalance Forklift)

Location: Scarborough, ON

Pay Rate: $21.78 per hour

Shifts: Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:00pm

We are looking for reliable and physically capable general laborers with counterbalance forklift experience to support production clean-up in a busy manufacturing plant environment in Scarborough. This role is ideal for someone who is safety-focused, dependable, and comfortable working in a busy plant environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with day-to-day clean-up and maintenance of production areas to ensure a safe and organized work environment
• Duties will include sweeping, mopping, dusting, and removing debris throughout facility.
• Move product and equipment as required, dispose of waste and recycling in accordance with company procedures.
• Operate a counterbalance forklift (where licensed and required) to move materials safely.
• Follow all health and safety policies, procedures, and workplace regulations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Work with team members to meet daily production goals
• Follow all health and safety procedures and wear required PPE

Requirements:

• Counterbalance forklift experience and certification required
• Previous production/manufacturing experience preferred.
• Comfortable working in a plant production environment (as they manufacture adhesives environment may be sticky/dirty)
• Comfortable lifting up to 50lbs
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Safety shoes required.
