Defines the marketing strategy for the product/product portfolio and works with partners to implement. Acts as the prime contact for internal/external stakeholder relationships, which may include regulators. Uses market research and competitive intelligence to develop strategy. Understands and oversees end-to-end customer experience. Leads/supports contract negotiations with vendors and external partners, balancing cost, risk and performance. Manages risk associated with portfolio of products, including setting risk parameters and tolerance for losses. Sets policies for product portfolio. Defines and implements product strategy for an individual product or product portfolio. Drives the business case and strategic roadmap for products and services, including accountability for project and budget approval. Optimizes the financial performance and customer value of the product portfolio. Continuously improves processes to identify issues and deliver optimal customer experience. Works with internal stakeholders to develop materials and training for salesforce, and manages changes. May support the sales team in development of specific deals for customers and in client presentations. Develops and maintains relationships with external partners and vendors. Sets and/or operates within product risk parameters and metrics. Conduct risk/reward and other analyses, and drafts product policies and related documents. Operates at a group/enterprise-wide level and serves as a senior specialist resource across BMO. Influences how teams/groups work together. Applies expertise and thinks creatively to address unique or ambiguous situations and to find solutions to multiple, interdependent, complex problems. Communicates abstract concepts in simple terms. Typically 9+ years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Post graduate degree in business, economics or finance preferred. Seasoned expert with extensive industry knowledge - technical leader viewed as a thought leader for innovation. Established track record of providing strong investment performance and effective risk management. Completion of relevant investments certification. Master of core functional area and how it fits within the firm and competitive environment. Broad knowledge across multiple areas and business lines. Data driven decision making - Expert.Salary: $120,000.00 - $215,000.00 Pay Type: Salaried The above represents BMO Financial Group’s pay range and type. Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position. BMO Financial Group’s total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
