Abs Credit Ratings Associate Director

Analyze ABS transactions and develop credit opinions as an Associate Director with Fitch Ratings in Toronto, using quantitative and technical expertise.Fitch Ratings seeks an Associate Director for its Asset-Backed Securities Group. You will cover the U.S. ABS market, initially focusing on auto loan, auto lease, and equipment leasing sectors. The position combines transaction analysis, ratings work, public communication, and sector research.Key Responsibilities:
Analyze credit, legal, and structural elements of ABS transactionsSupport ratings criteria development and write relevant reportsDeploy and implement cashflow models and rating toolsLead or support research projects on sector developmentsMaintain assigned rating relationships across covered transactionsRequirements:
BA or BS degree with at least four years’ work experiencePrevious structured finance experience;
direct ABS experience preferredExceptional written communication and strong quantitative technical expertiseStrong understanding of credit fundamentals and analytical techniquesEffective time management, organization, and project timeline managementBuild ABS ratings, research, and credit analysis expertise while covering U.S. structured finance markets from Toronto.
