Senior Backend Engineer at Lyft

Elevate your software engineering career with Lyft as a Senior Backend Engineer. Contribute to our Ad Infra Engineering team by developing backend systems and data pipelines in a hybrid work environment. Lyft is seeking experienced engineers to enhance its advertising and measurement platform. As part of the Ad Infra Engineering team, you will collaborate with cross-functional partners and maintain real-time ad serving systems. You will build scalable data models and manage data pipelines that support analytics and targeting capabilities, while following best coding practices. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop backend systems for real-time ad serving
- Design scalable data models for analytics uses
- Build robust data pipelines for large data volumes
- Work with orchestration frameworks like Airflow
- Collaborate with teams to integrate systems via APIs
- BSc/MSc in Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years in backend or data engineering roles
- Proficiency in Python, Go, or Java
- Understanding of distributed systems and database design
- Experience with Linux and orchestration tools
