Medicine Hat College's Financial Services department is welcoming internal applications for a full time, regular Accounting Assistant I.
A little about the role:
Reporting to the Manager, Financial Services, the primary area of responsibility for the Accounting Assistant I is to provide accounting and general administrative support services in accordance with established college policies and departmental procedures and practices. General areas of responsibility include accounts payable, accounts receivable, banking, general ledger and other services administered by the Corporate Finance Division.

As a successful applicant you'll have:
- A Business Administration Diploma or equivalent with an accounting focus.
- Two years of experience in an accounting administrative environment.
- Knowledge of standardized accounting processes and general administrative support services in accordance with established college policies and departmental procedures and practices.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
Terms of Employment
Hours of Work: 35 hours per week
Wage Rate: $23.55 per hour (Start Rate); $26.77 per hour (Job Rate)
