Expected Start Date: October 12, 2026 Union: SUN Facility: Brightwater Special Care Home City/Town: Regina Department: LTC Nursing Unit - Brightwater Type: Part-time regular FTE: 0.5 Shift Information: Days, Nights, Evenings, Weekends, Stat Number of Hours per Rotation: 14 shifts of 8 hours per 6 weeks Relief: No Float: No Hours of Work: Standard Hours Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Nurse A $38.580 to $50.070 Travel Required: No Job : Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates patient care. Active participation in the model of care that integrates quality improvement principles, lean methodology, best practice, advanced technology an patient family centered care. Responsible for promoting organizational mission, vision and values by providing safe quality nursing care to clients. Human Resources Exemption: No Education- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) Other Education and Training
- Nursing diploma is acceptable
- Basic Cardiac Life Support Certificate (BCLS)
- Bachelor of Psychiatric Nursing is acceptable
- Psychiatric Nursing diploma is acceptable Knowledge and Abilities
- Current clinical knowledge and skill are required in a broad range of areas.
- Ability to promote effective relationships within the SHA and the community.
- Ability to demonstrate appropriate level of professional conduct and judgement.
- Ability to exercise independent nursing judgement
- Knowledge in nursing process
- Ability to initiate and exercise critical thinking and decision-making Other Information
