Build the future of HR with Workday.
We are seeking a Workday Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of enterprise-scale HCM solutions. This is a high-impact opportunity for a consultant who can operate at both strategic and hands-on levels, shaping how organizations manage their workforce end-to-end.
Key Responsibilities
Lead solution architecture across Workday HCM modules including Core HCM, Recruiting, Talent, Compensation, Learning, and Absence & Time Tracking
Translate HR business requirements into scalable Workday solution designs
Design employee lifecycle processes aligned to HR strategy and operations
Provide architectural leadership across design, build, test, and deployment phases
Guide functional and technical teams on design decisions and best practices
Ensure alignment across HR, IT, and integration workstreams
Define integration architecture with external systems such as payroll and benefits providers
Establish data migration, governance, and reporting strategies
Lead design reviews and ensure adherence to architectural standards
Identify and mitigate risks related to scalability, data integrity, and performance
Required Experience
8+ years of experience in HRIS or HCM systems
5+ years of direct Workday HCM experience
Proven experience leading end-to-end Workday HCM implementations
Deep expertise across core Workday HCM modules
Strong understanding of Workday architecture, data model, and employee lifecycle processes
Experience working in complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise environments
Ability to operate at both strategic and hands-on levels
Nice to Have
Workday HCM certifications
Experience with large-scale HR transformation initiatives
Experience in public sector or complex enterprise environments
Experience with payroll integrations and workforce data strategy

Scalable and well-defined Workday HCM solution architecture
Documented solution designs and architecture artifacts
Alignment of Workday configuration with business and HR requirements
Integration design and data strategy documentation
Strong governance of architectural decisions and best practices
Support to delivery teams to ensure successful implementation

You will work closely with HR stakeholders, IT teams, and implementation partners to ensure successful delivery of Workday HCM capabilities aligned to business objectives.
