Role Description The Immigration Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Beaumont, AB. In this position, the specialist reviews client profiles, assesses eligibility across relevant Canadian immigration programs, and advises on appropriate pathways. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and submitting applications and supporting documents, monitoring case progress, and responding to client inquiries in a clear and timely manner. The role also involves staying up to date with changes in immigration laws and policies, maintaining accurate records, and coordinating with internal colleagues and external stakeholders as needed. The specialist is expected to handle multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining high standards of accuracy, confidentiality, and professional conduct.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Immigration Issues and practical experience handling a variety of case types.
• Extensive experience in LMIA application is desired.
• Understanding of Immigration Policy and Law relevant to Canadian federal and provincial programs.
• Experience with Global Immigration matters and cross-border considerations.
• Ability to manage and advise on Visas and related permits, including documentation and compliance.
• Post-secondary education in law, immigration studies, public policy, or a related field; recognized immigration practitioner certification or licensing is an asset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information in a clear, respectful manner to diverse clients.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with office software and case management tools, and comfort working with confidential information.
• Demonstrated commitment to fairness, non-discriminatory practices, and culturally sensitive client service.
