Your Opportunity

Senior Financial Analyst, Business Restructuring & Turnaround Services – Oakville office

  • Analyzing financial data, reviewing financial models and accounting records;
  • Assessing companies’ current financial position, business plans and financial forecasts;
  • Preparing integrated cash flow models;
  • Assisting the team in advising corporations, lenders, creditors, shareholders, regulators or the Courts through financial reviews, business turnarounds, and financial restructurings (formal or informal);
  • Participating in practice development opportunities; and
  • Flexibility to meet stakeholders and work during non‑business hours.

Your experience and education

  • 2 - 3 years of experience in a professional accounting services firm (in Audit and Asset).
  • Experience in the corporate restructuring field is an asset, but not required.
  • Proven analytical and systematic problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint).
  • Enrolled or willing to enroll in the Chartered Insolvency and Restructuring Professional (CIRP) program.
  • CPA designation is considered an asset.
  • Detail oriented, excellent organisational skills.
  • Able to prioritise with the flexibility to manage workload demands and multiple tasks as required.
  • Candidate must have access to reliable transportation, as travel to other BDO offices and off‑site locations may be required.

Expected compensation: $68,000‑$104,000 annually.
