Commercial Dump Truck Driver

In addition to general contracting, our scope of expertise encompasses a variety of services under the earth working umbrella. These include excavation and material disposal, site preparation, civil construction, land clearing, demolition, preloading, engineered retaining walls, road and highway construction, marine construction and dredging.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Transporting crushed rock, sand, soil and gravel to and from specified locations.
- Verifying the types of materials being transported and ensuring that they do not exceed weight restrictions.
- Ensuring that the materials are loaded correctly onto the dump truck.
- Inspecting the truck before and after the trip and recording any defects.
- Keep the truck clean and in good working order.
- Reporting serious mechanical problems to the appropriate personnel.
- Adhering to all safety and compliance regulations.
Required Qualifications:
- Valid commercial truck driver's license.
- Experience as a truck driver.
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to sit for long periods.
