Mental Health Clinician for Youth

Serve youth at The Alex as a Mental Health Clinician focusing on therapeutic support. This role emphasizes evidence-based therapies in a team-oriented environment, requiring Spanish language skills. The Alex is seeking a clinician to join its Youth Health Clinic team, dedicated to providing integrated care for ages 12 to 24. This full-time contract role requires expertise in mental health therapies, strong communication skills, and compassion for young clients. Clinicians are expected to collaborate with an interdisciplinary team and provide culturally sensitive services tailored to each client's needs. Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate on evidence-based therapy sessions
- Offer four to five therapeutic encounters daily
- Conduct assessments and contribute to service plans
- Facilitate group programming using psychoeducation
- Ensure compliance with documentation requirements
- Master’s degree in psychology or Social Work
- Active registration in Alberta
- At least two years of experience with youth
- Awareness of mental health regulations
- Specialized training in therapeutic approaches
$140k - $150k per year
