Executive Director Resource Optimization

Lead Global Markets resource optimization at CIBC from Toronto, using capital markets expertise and analytics in an on-site leadership role.As Executive Director, you will establish and scale a new Resource Optimization function. You will build disciplined, data-driven allocation practices across Global Markets, supporting improved decision-making, transparency, and returns. The role partners with trading, finance, treasury, and risk stakeholders to enable an efficient, scalable operating model.Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement a centralized resource optimization frameworkBuild reporting, analytics, dashboards, and data infrastructureEmbed return-focused allocation across capital, leverage, and fundingSupport governance aligned with strategic prioritiesCoordinate trading, funding, finance, treasury, and risk stakeholdersRequirements:
Strong capital markets experience across trading, treasury, or resource management10+ years in resource optimization or strategic allocationUnderstanding of capital, funding, and regulatory constraintsExperience with large datasets, systems, and process automationCollaborative leadership in complex organizationsBring capital markets leadership, analytical insight, and allocation expertise to build CIBC’s Global Markets resource optimization framework.
