Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA)

Our clients are looking for Behaviour Analysts to provide ABA services in Halifax and the Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM) to support our clients through the implementation of behaviour plans and programming grounded in ABA principles and best practices. We are looking for BCBA's with experience and interest in working with diverse populations, developing Behaviour Support and Safety Plans, supporting individuals with high-risk interfering behaviours, and conducting functional analyses.

Requirements to succeed:

• Registered as a BCBA with the Behaviour Analyst Certification Board (BACB) is a requirement.
• Proof of Professional Liability Insurance, or willingness to obtain
• Non-Violent Crisis Intervention training within the last 5 years is considered an asset
• Valid Drivers License and access to a reliable vehicle with a willingness to travel within the community and to clients homes
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to work both independently and as a part of a multidisciplinary team
• Experience managing caseloads, budgeting appropriately, arranging schedules, and leading team meetings considered an asset
• Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset
• Valid Standard First Aid and CPR level C certification
• Criminal Record & Vulnerable Sector Check (within the last 6 months)

RATE OF PAY

Starting at $83.94 per billable hour
Paid travel time for community visits
