Senior Credit Analyst Industrials Transportation

Lead North American credit ratings analysis from Fitch Ratings’ New York, Chicago, or Toronto office, applying sector expertise and financial modelling skills.As Senior Director, you will analyze, execute, and rate Industrials and Transportation transactions across the United States and Canada. You will report to the North American Team Head for Industrials or Transportation. The work includes research, credit evaluation, criteria development, and market-focused reporting.Key Responsibilities:
Lead ratings analysis, execution, and research on North American transactionsEvaluate innovative credit structures and participate in criteria developmentAssess trends and communicate credit impacts through reportsAnalyze data and legal documents for published ratingsMentor junior Industrials and Transportation team membersRequirements:
10+ years of North American corporate Industrials and Transportation experienceCredit or underwriting approach development experienceExcellent modelling skills and spreadsheet-based financial model familiarityStrong written and verbal communication skillsEmployee management experience and ability to meet tight deadlinesApply credit analysis, transaction execution, financial modelling, and leadership experience to Fitch Ratings’ Industrials and Transportation team.
