Job Overview

Support the development and review of I&C designs for nuclear plant systems and modifications

• – Prepare technical specifications, calculations, drawings and engineering documentation
• – Review schematics, wiring diagrams, control logic and instrumentation documents
• – Assist with equipment selection, procurement, installation, commissioning and troubleshooting
• – Ensure engineering work complies with applicable codes, standards and client requirements
• – Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering, project and site teams
• – Provide technical support throughout the design and project lifecycle
• – Participate in design reviews and help resolve technical issues

Qualifications

Degree in Electrical, Controls, Instrumentation or a related engineering discipline

• – 5+ years I&C engineering or design experience, preferably within the nuclear industry
• – DE and DTL qualifications will be an asset
• – Familiarity with nuclear engineering processes, design documentation and plant-modification requirements
• – Strong analytical, technical writing and problem-solving skills
• – Ability to work effectively with senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams
• – Excellent communication and organizational skills
