Qualifications

• Certificate of journeyman for the Province of Ontario as a licensed electrician.
• Minimum of five (5) years electrical experience installing, operating and maintaining 600/220/110 volt distribution systems, transformers, branch circuitry, diesel generators, induction motors and electrical control circuits.
• Ability to perform duties requiring heavy lifting and working in non‑air conditioned mechanical areas and confined spaces.
• Must be willing to work shifts and/or weekends and on call; Minimum Grade 12 education.
• College level Certification in related electrical field.
• Blueprint reading and interpretation skills.
• Working knowledge of applicable electrical codes.
• Experience in the installation and operation of Building Automation Systems (Siemens).
• Working knowledge of HVAC systems.
• Competent in office automation (Word, Outlook, Excel) and associated computer skills.
• Personal transportation to provide service response to both campuses.
