Position Overview

The Communication Associate is primarily responsible for assembly and distribution (website/email/social media) of economic research through our multiple channels. This includes graphics/media used in print, web and social media. The role also requires input with other team members to develop, implement and execute communication strategies for TD Economics.

Primary Responsibilities

• Assembly/review of TD Economics research publications using Adobe InDesign

• Posting of TD Economics research to our website in a timely fashion while paying strict attention to detail

• Coordination with internal partners to meet corporate translation requirements

• Work jointly with TD Economic Research Analysts to create dynamic presentation decks used in client presentations by Economists

• Conduct formatting review and emailing of TDE research to distribution lists

• Support of TD Economic social media strategies

• Support and contribute to strategic and tactical communications to ensure broad delivery of TD Economic research

Education

Bachelor's Degree or Certificate in web development, graphic design, communications or equivalent work experience

Knowledge Requirements

• Expert proficiency in HTML, and CSS

• Expert proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite

• Familiarity with web analytic and search engine optimization

• Familiarity with TD approved work enablement tools (e.g. Teams, SharePoint)

• Familiarity with video editing and animation principles and tools (Adobe Premiere & After Effects)

Other qualification/skills/experience

• Excellent application skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Tableau and Adobe InDesign)

• Familiarity with Big Data, Data Analytics is an asset

• Strong client management skills, critical thinking, judgment, interpersonal, organizational, time management and prioritization skills.

• Ability to lead, provide constructive feedback sessions, and suggest alternative ways of reaching goals

Language Skills

• English (French is an asset)
