Housekeeper Wanted - Experienced Part Time Housekeeper / Household Assistant Needed In Sw Calgary $25.00 Per Hour

We are a family of four in the Elboya area of SW Calgary seeking an experienced, reliable part-time housekeeper/household assistant for a minimum 10 hours per week. We are ideally looking for someone who can come for approximately two to three hours on four or five weekdays during daytime hours. The exact schedule is somewhat flexible, but we would like to establish consistent weekly days and times. This is an ongoing household-support role focused on maintaining a clean, organized and well-functioning family home. Responsibilities will include:

• Washing, drying, folding and putting away household laundry
• Treating stains and following garment-care instructions
• Laundering towels, sheets and duvet covers
• Changing and making beds
• Washing dishes and resetting the kitchen
• Cleaning counters and completing light kitchen-floor cleanup
• Tidying common areas, children’s rooms and toys
• Refreshing bathrooms, changing towels and restocking supplies
• Emptying household garbage as needed
• Rotating tasks such as cleaning the fridge, pantry, cupboards, interior windows and appliances
• Periodic household organization and guest-room preparation

Laundry, linens, tidying and the daily household reset will be the main priorities. Additional cleaning and organizational tasks can be rotated according to what is most needed each week. We are looking for someone who has previous private-home housekeeping experience and is dependable, detail-oriented, organized and able to work independently. The successful candidate should notice what needs attention, take initiative and communicate when supplies are running low or household issues arise. Respect for privacy and careful handling of clothing and household items are essential. We have a friendly golden retriever and a cat, so applicants must be comfortable working around both animals. Reliable transportation to SW Calgary is important. Compensation is approximately $25 per hour, negotiable based on experience. We will request recent household references and a background check.
