This skilled underground tradesperson applies shotcrete, concrete, ground support, ventilation systems, and mine services. The work follows approved procedures, project specifications, the Cementation Safety Management System, and applicable legislation.Key Responsibilities:
Construct and maintain underground infrastructure to design specificationsApply shotcrete and complete forming, placing, and finishingInstall mine services, piping, and dewatering systemsInstall ventilation ducting and auxiliary fansExamine workplaces, scale ground, and install ground supportRequirements:
Underground Hard Rock Miner Common Core or equivalentAt least two years of underground lead experienceAbility to interpret construction drawings and proceduresStrong personal safety record and safe work commitmentCanadian citizenship or authorization to work in CanadaLead underground construction through sound judgment, quality workmanship, ground support, and disciplined safety practices at Cementation.
