Payments Platform Backend Engineer

Build secure payment platforms in Vancouver with Xero, applying backend engineering and distributed systems expertise in a hybrid work model.As a Payments Platform Engineer, you will create reusable capabilities for collecting and paying money through Xero. You will work across payment orchestration, provider integrations, transactional data, reconciliation, and internal ledger capabilities. The work supports multiple products, payment methods, providers, and regions while protecting financial accuracy.Key Responsibilities:
