As Director of Marketing Budget Operations at OpenText, you’ll be at the center of strategic decision-making, enabling smarter, data-driven investments and ensuring financial discipline at scale. WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS

• Define and lead the Marketing Budget Operations strategy, driving disciplined financial management and long-term scalability•Partner with Marketing Leadership, FP, and Marketing Operations to influence investment decisions and improve ROI•Own end-to-end marketing budget planning, governance, and tracking to ensure alignment with corporate financial goals•Lead forecasting cycles, delivering accurate projections, variance analysis, and actionable executive insights•Build and scale a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability, growth, and financial acumen•Drive operational excellence through process optimization, automation, and the implementation of best-in-class tools•Establish governance frameworks and scalable processes that enhance efficiency and data integrity across systems

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

• 10+ years of experience in marketing finance, financial planning, or budget operations•5+ years of leadership experience managing and developing high-performing teams•Strong expertise in forecasting, financial analysis, and executive-level reporting•Proficiency with enterprise financial systems and tools (e.g., Allocadia, OLAP, or similar platforms)•Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive cross-functional alignment•Strong problem-solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset•Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate financial insights into business impact
