Senior Cloud Microservices Engineer
SAP
Cloud-native microservices engineering drives SAP CX OMS, with Java, Kubernetes, and production reliability at its core. Build systems supporting SAP Commerce Cloud and SAP S/4HANA.This Senior Software Developer role focuses on scalable application design across SAP’s Order Management platform. You will develop and test performant microservices, contribute throughout full sprint cycles, and improve CI/CD and operational practices. Your work spans Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, asynchronous messaging, observability, and distributed systems.Key Responsibilities:
Develop and test performant cloud-native Order Management microservicesParticipate in refinement, development, review, and deploymentWrite unit, integration, and contract tests for production qualityContribute to CI/CD pipelines using Kubernetes and GitHub ActionsTroubleshoot production issues and drive permanent fixesRequirements:
Six or more years of professional software development experienceExpert Java skills with Spring Boot experience preferredExperience with Kafka or similar asynchronous messagingExperience with Kubernetes, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or ArgoCDComfort working across distributed, cross-functional agile teamsApply cloud-native engineering, Java development, and operational expertise to SAP CX OMS microservices and enterprise commerce systems.
