Bakery Clerk and Barista

Job Responsibility:

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a dedicated Bakery Clerk to join our team. The Bakery Clerk will assist in the preparation and packaging of bakery items, provide excellent customer service, and maintain a clean and organized bakery department.

**Duties:**

- Assist in the preparation of bakery items such as bread, pastries, and desserts

- Package bakery products for display and sale

- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers with their bakery needs

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery department

- Operate cash registers for bakery transactions

- Sanitize work areas and equipment regularly

- Upsell bakery items to customers

- Follow food safety standards and procedures

- Assist in kitchen tasks as needed

**Qualifications:**

- Previous experience in a bakery, restaurant, or kitchen setting is preferred

- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively

- Excellent customer service skills to interact with customers in a friendly and helpful manner

- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

- Cashiering experience is a plus

Pay: $17.75-$21.00 per hour
