Contributions to the team Act as the Cabinet Engineering focal with Bombardier multi‑disciplinary teams and suppliers.
Prepare various types of engineering documentation to support the start of design activities.
Define technical requirements and participate in strategic planning.
Find and propose opportunities for product and process improvement (cycle time reduction, ease of production, weight reduction, etc.).
Review specifications for accuracy across documentation.
Be mindful of project potential technical issues (critical designs, risks, etc.).
Support change requests.
Coordinate technical integration meetings, analyze, and define technical proposals to meet program needs.
Participate in aircraft go‑and‑see in production to assess build or installation issues.
Communicate efficiently with colleagues, cross‑functional teams, and upper management.
Validate certification documents as required to ensure designs comply with regulations.
Act as a technical leader and transfer knowledge through coaching and mentoring within your larger team.
Develop 3D concepts as required to support change management deliverables such as PCR, RFQ, and VROM.
How to thrive in this role Hold a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
Have more than 10 years of relevant technical experience in aircraft interiors completions; cabinet experience is an asset.
Have solid experience with Catia/Enovia and Teamcenter/NX (GSD, Assy, Part Body, Drafting, etc.).
Be well organized and focused on projects.
Have the ability to understand complex engineering issues and be innovative in problem solving.
Have good oral and written communication skills in French and English.
Collaborate in a multidisciplinary team, adapt easily to changes, and put customer satisfaction first.
Be self‑motivated, a team player able to work under pressure and with minimal supervision.
Demonstrate an excellent track record of meeting commitments with success.
