Lead production tooling operations for BWXT Canada in Cambridge, managing calibration, maintenance, inventory, and equipment readiness. Support manufacturing through organized, compliant tooling systems.The Tooling Lead Senior manages the full lifecycle of production tools and related equipment. This senior manufacturing position emphasizes inventory control, technical problem-solving, calibration coordination, and collaboration with engineering and maintenance teams. It also includes complex project leadership and guidance for junior tooling personnel.Key Responsibilities:
Manage calibration, repair, replacement, and tracking for production toolsMaintain tooling inventory, control systems, and documentationCoordinate calibration schedules and quality complianceDiagnose tool issues with engineering and maintenance teamsProvide management updates on readiness, risks, and improvement plansRequirements:
Eight to ten years of manufacturing or tooling experienceExperience managing tooling, inventory, or maintenance coordinationStrong organizational and problem-solving skillsKnowledge of calibration, tooling standards, and equipment safetyProficiency with tooling databases, asset tracking, or ERP modulesApply tooling lifecycle management, calibration expertise, and technical collaboration to support BWXT Canada manufacturing operations in Cambridge.
