Front Office Developer: Python & Excel Focus

Join Insight Global as a Front Office Python Developer in downtown Toronto, working for one of the big 5 banks. Focus on enhancing trading tools using your expertise in Python and Excel. In this role, you will assist the IRD Trading Desk by developing Excel-based tools and automating workflows through Python and VBA. The position requires being on-site 4-5 days a week and demands a proactive approach to capital markets challenges, with work hours from 8 AM to 4:30 PM. Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement Excel trading tools and models
• Automate processes using Python scripting and VBA
• Collaborate with trading teams to refine tool functionality
• Develop pricing sheets for effective decision-making
• Commit to trading hours of 8 AM to 4:30 PM daily

Requirements:

• 2+ years of development experience
• Proficient in Python programming language
• Strong skills in Excel, VBA, and Macros
• Competence in SQL for analytical tasks
• Knowledge of interest rate derivatives (IRD)
