JOB DESCRIPTION
Insight Global is looking for an Insurance-focused Business Analyst to support a data modernization initiative, helping transition a Climate Data Environment from Azure Synapse to Databricks. This individual will work closely with underwriting and claims SMEs to document and improve complex insurance business rules, translating them into clear data requirements that can be implemented by engineering teams.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• 5+ years as a Business Analyst
• Insurance industry experience and expertise
• Experience in database documentation datasets and creating databases/schemas
• Good communication skills - will be working directly with SME from underwriting and claims department
• Ability to do simple extraction from Azure Synapse or Databricks
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• Expertise of creating schemas and databases
• BA that has worked closely with corporate actuarial
• French
