Base pay range

CA$65.00/hr - CA$80.00/hr

Insight Global is looking for information security risk Specialists to join one of our leading banking and financial services clients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating information security risks within our organization. This role requires a deep understanding of risk management frameworks, regulatory compliance, and emerging security technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct risk assessments and audits to evaluate the effectiveness of security controls and compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., PCI-DSS, SOX, BASEL).
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement risk management strategies and enhance security measures.
3. Monitor and analyze security threats and vulnerabilities, providing recommendations for remediation.
4. Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and best practices.
5. Develop and maintain documentation related to risk management processes, policies, and procedures.
6. Provide training and awareness programs for staff regarding information security and risk management.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
2. Proven experience in risk management, information security, or compliance roles.
3. Strong knowledge of security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
4. Experience with cloud security and risk management in environments such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
5. Experience with controls testing and hardening.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Familiarity with governance, risk management, and compliance (GRC) tools.
