Start Date: ASAP Compensation: $22.00 – .../hour (commensurate with experience) mileage reimbursement Overview Our family in Purcell’s Cove is seeking a reliable, warm, and proactive Nanny/Household Helper to assist with afternoon school and daycare pickups, childcare, and evening household support for our two children (a pre-primary student and an 18-month-old toddler). Key Responsibilities School/daycare pickups (Fairview/Herring Cove areas) Childcare Simple meal prep Kitchen tidying Light housekeeping/laundry Compensation & Employment Terms Wage Range: $22.00 – .../hour, based on experience, references, and qualifications. Payroll & Taxes: Formally processed payroll position with statutory deductions (EI, CPP, income tax) and pay stubs provided. Includes legal vacation pay (4%) and statutory holiday pay. Probationary Period: Hiring subject to a standard 3-month performance probation period to ensure a great mutual fit. Vehicle & Driving: Mileage reimbursement provided at standard per-kilometer rates for all work-related driving using your personal vehicle. Car seats provided by the family. Optional & Additional Hours Full-Day Coverage: Opportunities for extended full-day shifts (e.g., 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) during HRCE PD days, school holidays, or when children are home sick. Ideal candidate would be able to help cover sick day/PD days Evenings & Weekends: Optional short weekend shifts (3–4 hours) or evening date-night coverage, scheduled in advance with mutual agreement. Requirements & Qualifications

• Valid Nova Scotia Driver’s License with a clean driving record and access to a reliable personal vehicle. We can provide car seats
• Comfortable driving between Purcell's Cove, Herring Cove, and the Joseph Howe area/Armdale Roundabout.
• Current First Aid and CPR Certification (or willingness to obtain prior to start).
• Clean Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check.
• Previous experience caring for toddlers and young children.
