Project Controls Specialist Aecon

Lead project controls for Aecon’s John Hart Dam seismic upgrade in Campbell River, using SAP and advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Work from the project site office.This experienced Project Controls Specialist supports a major civil and hydroelectric infrastructure project on Vancouver Island. You will manage costs, forecasts, revenue, cash flows, budgets, payments, change orders, and reporting. The position contributes to project decisions involving cost and scheduling while supporting the Scheduler when needed.Key Responsibilities:
Develop project job costs, forecasts, revenue, and cash flowsMaintain budgets and identify cost adjustments and revisionsSupport subcontractor and service agreement paymentsPrepare client payment applications and change order proposalsCoordinate reports for internal and external stakeholdersRequirements:
Approximately five to ten years’ relevant project controls experienceCivil construction experience and related education or applicable experienceStrong working knowledge of SAPIntermediate to expert Microsoft Excel proficiencyApplied knowledge of Earned Value and cost control principlesBring project controls, cost engineering, SAP, and Excel expertise to Aecon’s John Hart Dam upgrade in Campbell River.
