Immediate Opening: Cabinetmaker

Do you eat, sleep, and breathe millwork? Are you looking to challenge yourself, develop your craft, and work on some of the finest homes in the city?

Wood Studio is a small, growing custom millwork shop specializing in low-volume, high-detail projects. We focus on thoughtful design, fine cabinetry, and quality craftsmanship—not production-line work.

Because we are a small shop, you will be involved in many different stages of a project and gain experience across a wide range of tasks. The ideal candidate is a capable problem solver with a strong eye for detail, a positive attitude, and a genuine interest in learning how to build exceptional cabinetry.

We are looking for someone who can take what they learn from one challenge and apply it to the next.

You must be confident and independent in the following:

• Breaking out solid lumber using a jointer and planer
• Accurately operating a sliding table saw
• Reading and interpreting drawings, cut lists, and hardware specifications
• Working independently with focus and effective time management
• Solving problems on the spot
• Safely lifting, carrying, and moving materials and completed components
  

Additional Assets

• CAD or Mozaik experience
• Cabinet installation experience
• CNC knowledge or operating experience
• Personal vehicle
  

Previous cabinetmaking or millwork shop experience is required. Please do not apply if you have never worked in a cabinet or millwork shop.

Job Type: Full-time, permanent
Pay: based on experience and ability
Expected Hours: 40 hours per week
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts
Work Location: In person

Required Experience: Minimum two years of cabinetmaking or relevant millwork shop experience
