Carleton Place Ford is seeking a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Shuttle Driver to support our Service Department. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, driving, and providing exceptional customer service.
As a Shuttle Driver, you will play an important role in ensuring our customers have a positive service experience by safely transporting them to and from their destinations while their vehicles are being serviced.
What You'll Do
- Greet customers in a professional, friendly, and courteous manner.
- Provide safe and timely transportation for customers to and from the dealership.
- Assist customers with questions and concerns, ensuring a positive experience.
- Accurately communicate customer feedback and service needs to the appropriate team members.
- Maintain the cleanliness and overall condition of shuttle and rental vehicles.
- Monitor rental vehicle availability and coordinate vehicle usage as required.
- Conduct vehicle inspections and report any damages or maintenance concerns.
- Follow all company safety policies and traffic laws.
- Support the Service Department with additional duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- Valid Ontario Class G driver's licence with a satisfactory driver's abstract.
- Ability to safely operate vehicles with automatic and manual transmissions.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
- Comfortable using computers, smartphones, and basic software applications.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to remain flexible and adapt to changing priorities.
