Experienced Dental Receptionist

WORKFORCE Dental Staffing is currently recruiting an on behalf of a well-established dental practice in Vancouver that is looking for an experienced Dental Receptionist to join their team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a minimum of 5 years of dental reception experience who is looking for a long-term position in a supportive, collaborative practice. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, confident with dental insurance and treatment planning, and enjoys providing an exceptional patient experience from start to finish.
Schedule
- Monday to Friday
- Monday & Friday: 6:45 AM to 3:00 PM
- Tuesday to Thursday: 6:45 AM to 4:00 PM
- 4-day schedule may be also be considered
Compensation & Benefits
- $35-$39 per hour, depending on experience
- Dental benefits after successful completion of probation
- Quarterly team development days, team meetings, and social outings
- Health Spending Account (to be available in the future)
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of dental reception experience
- Tracker software proficiency
- Strong knowledge of the BC General Practitioner Fee Guide
- Extensive experience with dental insurance, claims, and pre-authorizations
- Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
- Strong English verbal and written communication
- Looking for a long-term opportunity
Responsibilities
- Manage all front desk responsibilities efficiently and professionally
- Schedule appointments and ensure each day is well prepared
- Process insurance claims, benefit breakdowns, pre-authorizations, treatment estimates, and financial arrangements
- Communicate effectively with patients and the clinical team
- Follow office systems while anticipating and resolving issues proactively
- Help support and mentor a newer receptionist
- Contribute to the continued growth and success of the practice
