• Be aged between 15 and 30 on the start date of the job
• Have a valid Social Insurance Number (SIN); and
• Be a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident of Canada, or a personwho has been granted refugee status in Canada. | General Duties
• Exciting opportunity to start-up our art residency program.
• Grant writing experience extremely beneficial.
• Receive visitors at the The Chapel Gallery. You must have a positive, upbeat personality! If you are an art lover even better!
• Answer general telephone inquiries and take messages in a professional and courteous manner.
• Community outreach to plan & coordinate community events & MAC workshops.
• Assist Executive Director with social media platforms, material, interviews, photographs.
• Create yearly gallery exhibition & workshop schedules. Coordination with the Gallery Committee, Volunteer Committee & Workshop Committee will be required.
• General cleaning, mopping, yard work and heavy lifting will be required.
• A big focus will be MAC membership outreach. Managing the current members, while recruiting new members.

• Sometimes hours will be juggled to accommodate a special event that requires MAC's participation.

Qualifications Required

• Currently attending high school or post secondary school.
• Experience with event planning an asset.
• Very strong organizational, time management & planning skills.
• Ability to work on your own and take initiative.
• A valid drivers license is an asset. We will be doing work throughout the community.
• Technical Skills as asset: Wordpress, Memberpress, Google Workspace, Stripe, Square, Eventbrite, Instagram, Facebook, Tick Tock, Jotform, Mailchimp, Shopify, YouTube, Canva, Art of Where, Quickbooks
