Job Description:
- Responsible for cleanliness of Duffin Cove hotel rooms, cabins and common areas
- Sweep, mop, wash, wax and polish floors
- Dust furniture and vacuum carpeting and area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture
- Make beds, change sheets and distribute clean towels and toiletries
- Attend to guests’ requests for extra supplies
- Stock linen closets and other supplies’ areas
- Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
- Clean and disinfect public areas
- Pick up debris and empty trash containers
- Wash windows, walls and ceiling; Report and store lost and found items
- Providing basic information on facilities to guests
- Handling guest complaints
- Complete laundry, operate laundry machines and fold towels and linens
Requirements
- Education: Secondary school.
- Experience: At least 7 months of experience in a mid-range hotel is required.
Work setting: Hotel, remote location.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work independently, Fast-paced environment, Repetitive tasks, Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Attention to detail, Bending, crouching, kneeling, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Standing for extended periods.
Personal Suitability: Dependability, Flexibility, Organized, Reliability, Team player, Values and ethics, Patience, Honesty.
Weight handling: Maximum 30 lbs.
Language: English is required
Salary: $21.00 to $23.00 hourly. Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.

Important Information:
Flexibility in the schedule is required. The work schedule is from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with two days off on a rotational basis. Weekend and holiday work will be required, and overtime and on-call duties may be necessary depending on business needs.
