Engineering and Project Management Lead

Take the helm of engineering and project management at the Town of Taber. This leadership role blends capital projects, design services, and asset management to ensure community progress. As the Manager of Engineering & Project Management, you'll guide capital projects from conceptual stages through to completion. Collaborating with the Public Works leadership team, you will also manage engineering services, ensuring infrastructure meets municipal standards. Your expertise will influence operations and stakeholder relations, providing substantial impact in the community. Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all phases of capital projects
• Manage engineering services and asset transfers
• Lead project management activities and contract negotiations
• Inspect new developments for compliance
• Communicate effectively with various stakeholders

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Minimum 10 years of leadership experience
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
• Experience in budget management and project scheduling
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
