Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL) , to work on understanding the economic and technical foundations of progress in computing. Will analyze trends in deep learning or other aspects of computing; gather primary or secondary data; and prepare research visualizations, writings, presentations, and analysis. Will also collaborate with and contribute to the research of other lab members and to the broader work of the lab.
Requirements
A bachelor's degree in data science, statistics, or computer science; and two years of specialized lab experience in machine learning/data science. Must be proficient with programming languages, e.g., Python (Numpy, SciPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow), R (dplyr, ggplot2, Plotly, ISLR, randomForest, Shiny), SAS, C++, SQL, Java, JavaScript, and Mathematica; databases, e.g., MySQL and MongoDB; and other software/tools, e.g., LaTeX, Word, Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTable, VBA), PowerPoint, HTML/CSS, SPSS, IBM Watson Studio, Salesforce. PREFERRED : industry experience and conference publications in machine learning (ML) and data science. Job #22874
