About the Opportunity

A respected Ontario‑based law firm is seeking a Junior Construction Litigation Lawyer to join its growing Civil Litigation team. This opportunity is ideal for a motivated legal professional looking to develop their career in construction law while working alongside experienced litigators in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Assist with construction‑related litigation matters from inception to resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, contracts, procurement documents, and other legal materials.
• Conduct legal research and analyze case law to support client matters.
• Attend discoveries, mediations, arbitrations, adjudications, negotiations, and court appearances.
• Support clients in matters involving construction contracts, lien claims, procurement disputes, deficiency claims, and related litigation issues.

Qualifications

• Licensed and in good standing to practice law in Ontario.
• Approximately 2–3 years of litigation experience, preferably with exposure to construction‑related matters.
• Strong legal research, drafting, advocacy, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple files, meet deadlines, and provide exceptional client service.
