This full-time position oversees sprinkler permit processing, reviews complex projects, and coordinates Project Coordinators. The work also involves Alternative Solutions, NFPA standards, and technical guidance for applicants, staff, and design professionals.Key Responsibilities:

Engineering degree in civil, fire protection, or mechanical engineeringProfessional Engineer registration or eligibility in British ColumbiaConsiderable plans examination and code interpretation experienceExperience with fire protection measures for high buildingsLeadership, mentoring, and supervisory experienceUse engineering judgment, code interpretation, and communication skills to support permitting and fire protection review for Vancouver construction.
