Leaps & Bounds Children’s Centre is a licensed, non-profit child care centre with 3 locations in Arnprior and Renfrew and 2 new centres opening in Pembroke. The Pembroke location is in a brand new building located beside Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School on Clemow Avenue in Pembroke. The Explorers' Treehouse location is based out of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School.

We require a Cook to support both programs beginning the first of August (date TBD) working approx. 40 hours per week, 8 hours a day, with about 1.5 hours being in the program supporting children. The rate of pay is $20.91 per hour plus 4% holiday pay.

As part of the child care team; the cook leads the planning and preparing lunch and two snacks daily that meet or exceed the nutritional requirements as outlined by the Canada Food Guide and the Health Unit. The cook also ensures that the kitchen (including all equipment and items) is kept in a clean, sanitary, and organized manner.

This can be a busy role both physically and mentally, but also fun & rewarding as the children and team are supportive of all that comes out of the kitchen.

We are looking for a dynamic and caring individual that would be comfortable in such an environment.

Must have Safe Food Handling Certificate along with First Aid and CPR-Level C.

Must provide a clear Criminal Reference Check.

Experience In Large Kitchen Environment Preferred.
