Jump Recruitment Specialists has partnered with Cooper Custom Homes in search of a full-time permanent Experienced Carpenter for projects within St. Johns and surrounding areas.

The Job
- Execute carpentry tasks for new home construction projects.
- Interpret and work from blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate project execution.
- Frame walls, roofs, and floors, install windows and doors, and complete various carpentry tasks with precision.
- Collaborate with the construction team to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
- Provide input on construction planning and contribute to problem-solving when challenges arise.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Carpenter in residential renovations and new home construction.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and tools.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong commitment to safety protocols and guidelines.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in residential carpentry.
- Trade certification or relevant education is an asset.
- Demonstrated portfolio of completed residential renovation and construction projects.
- Proficiency in using carpentry tools and equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
