The successful candidate will be working in the EST timezone and willing to travel up to 25% within North America with a valid passport/visa. What your impact will be:

• Work with all stakeholders in Professional Services towards continual improvement of the project management practice
• Take responsibility and drive initiatives for improvement
• Lead and motivate a project team towards accomplishing their work effectively
• Work closely with the Customer to ensure successful completion of the implementation
• Develop and execute the project plan and monitor progress. Keep peers and the Manager of Project Management updated on client status, proactively identifying and resolving, or escalating as appropriate, issues that might impact business strategy
• Consistently manage client expectations and ensure delivery of highest quality service
• Work closely with R&D and Support departments to achieve corporate objectives
• Contribute to improved levels of employee satisfaction through motivating other employees towards improving the success of the company and develop their knowledge and skills
• Prepare project level performance evaluation forms and participate in performance reviews as required
• Manage to within 3% of the contracted effective rate of the project
• Deliver monthly revenue and billable hour targets as assign
• Ensure the technical and application consulting team members are appropriately tasked for successful execution of the established project plan
• Conduct post implementation reviews to identify and measure results. Capture and apply lessons learned for continuous process improvement
• Financial responsibility for both software license and services for assigned projects.
• Assist in the overall scheduling of team members
• Responsible for reporting project and financials to Manager of Project Management on an ongoing basis
• Other duties as assigned by management

What we are looking for:

• Minimum of 5 years of direct Project Management experience
• Experience with the management of risk, change, issues, time, scope, resources, budget and quality
• In depth understanding of all major activities for a business system implementation such as analysis, design, development, deployment
• Experience with a formal project management methodology
• Proven leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team
• Highly motivated and driven to improve project management processes and operational efficiency
• PMP Certification is required
• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Business, or equivalent, would be considered an asset
• Experience with projects in the Utilities sector would be an asset, but is not required
• Understanding of percent complete accounting methodology would be considered an asset
