Proposal Writer or Past Performance Coordinator

PWM is seeking a Proposal Writer/ Past Performance Coordinator to create the written content that supports winning bids. This role turns technical and operational input into clear, persuasive, evaluator-friendly language and builds the reusable content library needed to respond faster over time.

Required Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in proposal writing, technical writing, business writing, or content development.
Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
Ability to take raw technical input and convert it into concise, persuasive written content.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Comfort interviewing subject matter experts and working across functions.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and shifting priorities.
Good judgment on tone, accuracy, and customer-facing professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:
Write and edit proposal sections, executive summaries, capability statements, company profiles, project sheets, and customer-specific responses.
Develop and maintain past performance case studies, manufacturing capability summaries, certifications summaries, and quality/process s.
Interview engineers, production leaders, quality personnel, and executives to gather accurate content quickly.
Support annotated outlines, storyboards, response templates, resumes, biographies, and partner writeups.
Maintain a proposal content library with version control, metadata, and reusable source material.
Edit for clarity, consistency, grammar, formatting, and alignment to customer evaluation criteria.
Support proposal reviews by incorporating comments and tightening final text.
Coordinate with graphics or document-production support where required.
