Freezer Worker to Food and Beverage Processing Schooner Seafoods Limited Location 51 Doucette Wharf Rd Wedgeport, NS Salary 17.00 to 18.00 hourly (To be negotiated) / 20 to 35 hours per week Part time Evening, Night Starts as soon as possible Benefits: Other benefits Languages English Education No degree, certificate or diploma Experience 1 to less than 7 months Work must be completed at the physical Location. There is no option to work remotely. Work site environment Odours Cold/refrigerated Wet/damp Work setting Meat processing and/or packing plant/establishment Manufacturing and industrial plant Responsibilities: Transport raw materials, finished products and packaging materials Remove filled containers from conveyors Check products and packaging for basic quality defects Assist process control and machine operators in performing their duties Clean machines and immediate work areas Additional information Transportation/travel information Own transportation Work conditions and physical capabilities Repetitive Manual dexterity Hand-eye co-ordination Standing for extended periods Attention to detail Bending, crouching, kneeling Fast-paced environment Handling heavy loads Physically demanding Work under pressure Weight handling Up to 23 kg (50 lbs) Own tools/equipment Steel-toed safety boots Personal suitability Efficient interpersonal skills Flexibility Reliability Team player Benefits Other benefits Free parking available Parking available Between 08:00 a.m. and 04:30 p.m. Until: 2026-09-22
