Position SummaryAs a Financial Representative with Serenia Life Financial, you will build and manage your own client practice while helping individuals, families and business owners understand and address their financial protection needs.
You will develop new client relationships, identify financial needs and provide personalized insurance and financial solutions designed to protect what your clients have worked hard to build.
This is an entrepreneurial sales opportunity for someone who wants greater control over their career, income and long-term business growth while still having access to coaching, training and an experienced support network.
You will be supported with structured onboarding, ongoing sales development, technology, business-building resources and coaching designed to help you establish and grow your practice.
Key Accountabilities- Build and develop your own client base through networking, referrals, Centres of Influence, community involvement, social media and proactive business development.
- Meet with individuals, families and business owners to understand their goals, priorities and financial protection needs.
- Educate clients on life insurance, critical illness insurance, retirement and other financial solutions.
- Recommend appropriate solutions based on each client's individual circumstances and objectives.
- Develop strong, long-term client relationships built on trust, education and exceptional service.
- Create and execute a consistent prospecting and business development strategy to generate new client conversations.
- Build relationships with Centres of Influence and community partners who can help expand your professional network.
- Maintain accurate client records and meet all regulatory, licensing and compliance requirements.
- Participate in ongoing sales training, coaching, professional development and business planning.
- Continuously develop your knowledge of insurance, financial services, prospecting and relationship management.
- Establish personal activity, sales and business growth goals and take ownership of achieving them.

New Advisors may also qualify for a structured income support program during the early stages of building their practice.

Experience and QualificationsWe are interested in speaking with both experienced financial services professionals and accomplished sales professionals looking to transition into the insurance and financial services industry.
Ideal candidates may bring:
- Previous experience in sales, business development, financial services, insurance, banking, mortgages, real estate or another relationship-driven profession.
- A demonstrated ability to build relationships and develop new business.
- An established personal and professional network and a willingness to continuously expand it.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfort initiating conversations, networking and asking for introductions and referrals.
- A strong interest in financial services and helping people make important financial decisions.
- Life insurance licensing is an asset, but candidates who are not currently licensed may be considered and supported through the licensing process.
- Additional financial services education, experience or professional designations are considered an asset.
