Role Summary
MYA Media is looking for a part-time, in-person Content Creator based in Ottawa to join our growing creative team.
We work with brands in the construction, renovation, architecture, and real estate space — creating strategic, story-driven social media content.
This role is ideal for someone creative, reliable, and passionate about visual storytelling and short-form content.
We’re looking for someone who can consistently create engaging, high-quality content that reflects each brand’s identity and vision.
Responsibilities
• Film on-site content, behind-the-scenes footage, and project highlights
• Create and edit short-form videos for Instagram Reels and TikTok
• Assist with content planning and creative brainstorming
• Capture engaging visuals that align with brand identity
• Stay up to date with social media trends and content styles
• Organize and deliver content efficiently and on time
Qualifications
• Experience with content creation and video editing
• Familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, and short-form content trends
• Strong creative eye for visuals, storytelling, and composition
• Comfortable filming content in different environments
• Basic knowledge of CapCut, Canva, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar editing tools
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ottawa-based and available for in-person shoots
• Valid driver’s license is a plus
